Library Board Meeting Monday at 6 PM in the library.
BHS will be giving the Pre-ACT test to any interested sophomores on Nov. 15th. This test is optional, but very helpful in preparing to take the mandatory ACT next year as juniors. If interested, please have your student bring a check for $18 to Mr. Schnittgen by November 9th.

Good morning K-5 Families! We have fun events planned for the week starting on October 31st at 9:00 am with our first quarter awards assembly which hosts a special guest speaker from the Sheriff’s department talking about Halloween safety. In addition to classroom parties and lots of treats, the students will parade through the middle school, high school, along the hospital on Oak St, down Broadway and back to the elementary on Pine starting at 2:30 pm.
Attention k-12 families, on November 3, our 5th day program has a field trip to U of M in Missoula where they will learn what a pharmacists does in the lab, learn what a chemist does in the lab, learn how to make theatre props, fly drones and learn about the water cycle. Students will attend three grade appropriate sessions, all hands on with some unique experiences. The bus will leave at 8:00 and return at 4:30. We will have activities at the school if you do not want your child to go to Missoula. Please be sure to sign your child up to attend the 5th day program or email Mrs. Hartmann. Have a great week!

7:30-8:00 recess or stations
8:00-9:30 and 9:30-10:00 pottery for grades 3 and 4.
8:00-9:15 (two stations for those not in pottery) “There’s a Ghost in this House” activity and “Skeleton Hiccups” activity.
9:15-9:45 recess
9:45-11:00 same stations just switch groups
11:00-12:00 recess/lunch (hot dog or PBJ)
12:00-2:00 Pottery for grades 5-12
12:00-1:45 (for those not in pottery) pumpkin investigation, learning the life cycle, using real pumpkins.
1:45-2:15 recess
2:15-3:30 teamwork and communication skills Halloween style
3:30-4:00 snack/recess (load buses at 3:50/buses leave at 3:55)
4:00-5:00 Halloween stress balls
5:00-6:00 funny boards

Good afternoon families! Reminder, we have a short week. We do not have school Thursday or Friday or the 5th day program due to educational conferences for staff. Also, we will have our earthquake drill on Wednesday, October 18, at 10:19 am. Staff will share a short video prior on earthquake safety. Next week is Red Ribbon Week and our counselor will be holding lessons on being kind and safe. With lessons, we also have dress up days. Monday is wear sports/team jersey, Tuesday is wear camo, Wednesday is wear crazy socks (also picture retake day) and Thursday is wear red.
