CDL Training

Want to earn your Commercial Drivers License?

Old Baldy Adult Education has teamed up with Jeramy Rice at Bulldog Bus Lines here in Townsend to make your CDL a reality! Beginning in November, students will meet and learn what they need to know in order to take the CDL exam. At the end of the class. Appointments will be made to take the physical test with an appropriate vehicle.

The ultimate goal of this class is to build up the pool of qualified bus drivers available to the school, but this certification could lead to a very lucrative career for those interested.

* Cost - $500- may be reimbursed on a per trip basis (plus basic pay) by driving bus for school extracurriculars.

Love kittens? Curious about fostering but not sure where to start? Join us for a purr-fectly practical class in partnership with the Townsend Cat Assistance Network! You’ll learn all the basics—from bottle feeding and socializing shy kittens, to setting up a cozy foster space and understanding what these little furballs need to thrive. Whether you’re a seasoned cat lover or totally new to kitten care, this class will help you build the confidence (and skills!) to make a real difference—one whisker at a time.

We know there are younger kiddos who would love to take this class, but Old Baldy Participants must be 18+.

You will also have the option of being added to the Townsend Cat Assistance Network's foster family list.
