Townsend Schools Requisition Policy – 2023-2024

Do I need to complete a requisition? 

Great question! The answer is YES if…. you require a school issued check payment (ie. supplies, materials, fees, professional development training registration, etc.), or requesting school funds for future year supply orders. !Requisitions requiring registration! ATTENTION – Any registration will be the responsibility of the requestor. Pay close attention to the registration payment requirements. In the case of the online payment requirement a Procurement Card (goldenrod form) should be requested. 

General Rule – if the request requires payment – a requisition is REQUIRED.

Where do I find the requisitions?

Or you may submit an online version using our Black Mountain Software - eAccess Remote Requisitions. Please see your immediate supervisor should you require registration into this system.

What happens now that my requisition is complete? 

Great question! Once the requisition is complete, includes any supporting documents, submit to your immediate supervisor or building principal. Please be sure to note any deadline dates. Your supervisor or building Principal will review, approve, and submit the requisition to the Superintendent for final approval.  The Superintendent will then forward to the Business Office for account coding and purchase order processing. You will be notified should your requisition be denied. 

What happens after the purchase order has been created? 

Great question! The Business Office will work with our support staff to process the orders per the vendor instructions. Professional development training/conferences that require registration will be the responsibility of the requestor.   Any special instructions will need to be noted within the requisition.
